if you don’t want people on your land; you shouldn’t have such interesting property!

you’re not living, if life isn’t a little scary sometimes.
I don’t have a lot of fond memories from when I was younger,
and any that i did retain, were created by my mother
i still remember the large glass stockpot simmering,
its deliciously rich chocolate aromas filling the rooms of our home.
i remember being surprised by the taste of vanilla, every time i drank a cup.
because every beverage should be paired with a side,
i also made her oatmeal cookies, another nostalgia.
don’t forget; marshmallows and whip cream are always a must!
ratatat will always remind me of her.
i’m in the pursuit of happiness,
and i know; everything that shines ain’t always gonna be gold.
but it doesnt make it hurt, any less.
so suddenly. what was the reason, there must have been a reason\
awaiting the new year, I’m both excited and uneasy;
desperately trying to understand where my path leads.
i’ve often wondered if my life was meant for some greater purpose.. that i just havent found yet.
the occupy protests and “indefinite detention” bill are both atop my anxiety list.

i’m using the canon 60D which easily allows me to take pictures of myself :)
I’ve always been a huge fan of the guest star photos that appear in between breaks on SNL.
It definitely leaked into my subconscious, and came out creatively;
…or maybe it was the transcendent man.

I’ve been trying to work with models more, but still can’t get the right exposure;
working without lighting is rather difficult, but I suppose everythings a challenge…
We approached the construction site without permission and hoped on a whim they would allow us to photograph,
being unsure that something will work in your favor, is never enough reason to not try.
Choosing between Color and Black and White is always a difficult decision, especially when there are festive lights involved!

Nope, I haven’t posted in awhile, and I’m terribly sorry about that. I’ve forgotten that aside from photography, I truly love to write.
Someone recently inspired me to re-generate this outlet to the world, so I suspect 2012 will be very content heavy.
